Do I need shipping and, if so, how much is it?
Once you've selected your car, you determine where and when you want to take posession. We will figure out how to get it there. Whether it's across town or across the country The Auto Buying Service has teamed with nationally recognized shippers to get your vehicle to you quickly and safely. The cost to you depends on the distance shipped and will be included in the purchase price.
- Los Angeles
If you live within 50 miles of the city of Los Angeles including large portions of Los Angeles, San Bernadino, Riverside and Orange counties, your delivery is free of charge.
- San Francisco
If you live within 50 miles of the city of Hayward including large portions of Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Alameda, and Contra Costa counties, your delivery is free of charge.
- California
If you live in California outside of Los Angeles or San Francisco, a nominal, flat rate delivery charge of $300 will be added to your bill.
- United States
If you live in the U.S. outside of California we will provide you a custom quote based on the actual shipping charge from one of our nationally recognized shippers. As a general rule, if you are in the Western U.S. the charge will be close to $500. If you are in the Eastern U.S. the charge will be closer to $800.
Should we need to ship your vehicle, we will provide you a shipping package which outlines the follwing services:
- Car Shipping
Reputable carriers such as Dependable Auto Shippers or DAS, the leaders in auto transport.
- Car Transport Documentation
We handle all documentation including the bill of lading for your transport. Outside California? You may avoid California sales tax. Ask your associate for details.
- Car Shipping Insurance
We will ensure adequate insurance is in place to protect your vehicle. We'll discuss the level of coverage with you befofre the transit date.
