Comparable Vehicle Defined |
Definition
A third-party vehicle will be considered comparable to one purchased from The Auto Buying Serivce so long as it:
- Has the same year, make, model, engine, drivetrain and trim.
- Has no more than 3,000 actual odometer miles more than the actual odometer miles of The Auto Buying Service vehicle.
- Is in the same condition. For example, if the vehicle from The Auto Buying Service has not sustained frame or unibody damage then the third-party vehicle must also be free of such damage.
- Have at least the same factory-installed options as The Auto Buying Service Vehicle
- Carry comparable or better aftermarket products including but not limited to extended warranties, GAP products, tires, wheels, paint, stereo, etc.
- Has at least the same title status. For example, if the vehicle from The Auto Buying Service has a title free of "salvage", "buyback", "damage", "rental", or other designations, the third-party vehicle must also have a title free of such designations.
